Starting Jan. 1, 2026, customers of We Energies electric and natural will pay new base rates. The rates were determined by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSCW) in the two-year rate review approved in late 2024. The reason for the company’s request remains unchanged: Investments in reducing customer outages, building infrastructure needed to support jobs and economic growth in Wisconsin, and covering the costs of renewable and low-carbon power plants already approved by the PSCW. Steam rates did not change for 2026.
