Sign up for MyMeter to track electric energy use

We Energies customers with electric accounts are encouraged to sign up for our MyMeter pilot program. The online tool features two years of electricity use history, with various tracking tools and comparison options including temperatures and significant events affecting power use. This benchmarking data can help you discover energy efficiency opportunities or track the progress of recent improvements.

To get started, go to www.we-energies.com/mymeter

  1. Select ‘Sign up for MyMeter.’
  2. Select ‘Sign up.’
  3. Enter the name on your account exactly as it appears on your bill, including prefixes, suffixes and middle initials.
  4. Fill in your full 15-digit account number — including the hyphen.
  5. Set up a password and provide answers to security questions.
  6. Create account.

MyMeter guide and sign-in instructions

Our MyMeter pilot program is separate from My Account. The two systems are not connected, and MyMeter cannot be used to pay bills or change account information.

Business customers have been able to use MyMeter for about a year. Electric data for residential customers is coming this summer. MyMeter currently includes electricity use data; natural gas data is expected to be added in the future.
